Beacon Guides
How Each Feature Works for Your Caseload
Pick a feature to see what gets stored when you use it, a worked example on invented students, and the kinds of questions you can ask Beacon about it. Beacon never asks for a student's full name.
IEP Caseload
Goals, progress data and service minutes for every student you support, kept in one place.
Home Notes
Send each student's daily note home from your phone or computer: the family reads it by email the same day, replies by replying and every note is kept.
IEP Translator
Upload an IEP, 504, FBA, BIP, evaluation, or progress report. Beacon breaks it down in plain language.
Chat With Beacon
Knows your work profile, your caseload and the IEP context you uploaded, so you do not re-explain a student every time.
Moments
A scrollable timeline of everything you and Beacon have logged together, grouped by day.
Journal
A 60-second check-in for you, not your caseload. Pick a mood, write what you want, kept for 14 days.
Daily Schedule
Pre-built daily routines you can customize and print. Time + activity + optional note per block.
Pass the Baton
A one-page handover sheet for whoever covers your caseload: goals, services, accommodations and the notes you add. Nothing is stored, so there is no link to revoke.
Activity Planner
Activities tailored to age, goal, sensory needs, and the setting you are working in.
Behavior Plan
A behavior support plan (BSP-style) for one specific behavior, with antecedent, replacement, and reinforcement.
School Email
Beacon drafts the school email you didn't want to write. Pick the situation, set the tone, get a 4-paragraph draft to copy.
Sleep Routine
A bedtime routine tailored to age, the current sleep struggle, and what the family has already tried.
Social Story
A Social Story (Carol Gray format) for a specific situation, using the name, motivators and calmers you provide.
IEP Meeting Prep
A prep sheet for an IEP-style meeting, pulling your tracked behaviors and sensory profile into the asks automatically.
Crisis Mode
When everything is on fire right now. Breathing timer first, then a 1-sentence action, then the regulator you named, then a log button. No lag, no chips.
Onboarding
6-step conversational sign-up. Beacon asks about your role, your setting and your caseload, then uses every answer in every future conversation.
Settings
Edit your work profile, manage your subscription, install the app, restore a missing subscription. The 4 things, on one page.
Each guide is verified against the actual Beacon code, not generated from marketing copy.
